Plugin
I've written a small winamp plugin that you can download. It displays the current track information on the active window title bar. You can also download the source code.
The plugin is based on the best CD player for Windows: Notify CD Player by Mats Ljungqvist. The GNU public licence applies to the plugin.

Please note: I use linux nowadays and don't support the plugin anymore. For linux there's a very good program called XMMS which has almost all features of winamp, including skinablility, and more.
Martin Zuther has extended the titlebar plugin. You can e.g. change the font and see the remaining time for the current track. You can find his version at his website.
